Major overhaul of the football field lighting network in Kryvyi Rih city: Installation of lighting masts and floodlights in compliance with UEFA standards

A Bright Example of Quality Lighting by Panorama Group — Stadium Lighting at Hirnyk Sports Club, Kryvyi Rih

One of the most vivid examples of high-quality lighting delivered by the Panorama Group is the lighting system installed at the Hirnyk Sports Club stadium in Kryvyi Rih.

Originally built in 1956 as part of the Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant complex, the stadium was previously used only for local “home” matches.

The stadium falls under Category IV and measures 105 x 67 meters, accommodating 2,500 spectators across two stands.

As part of the modernization, 36-meter lighting masts were installed — positioned symmetrically on both sides of the stadium, near the main entrance arch. The masts are anchored with custom-engineered foundations manufactured by Prisma LLC

The floodlights installed on all four masts have a combined luminous output of 1,700 lumens, offering powerful, efficient, and long-lasting stadium lighting.

The lighting parameters fully comply with UEFA standards, enabling the stadium to host Europa League matches. The entire lighting system is powered by a diesel generator, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply.

Thanks to the optimal height of the masts (36 meters) and precise adjustment of the light beams, the field is exceptionally well-lit — enhancing visibility for both players and spectators.
